STYLEFAKER: Label me

STYLEFAKER: Label me:
We will all be "labeled, categorized, singled out by people who don't know us, assigned a stereotypical definition--which might be based on any number of things: our race, age, education, sex, religion, previous activities, past school history, credit history, job history.

anything you do or touch, by you --can be measured, analyzed, put into a statistical chart.

You can't escape this cruel reality, as long as you are alive and living on this planet.

But you know what.... who gives a shit?
if you care about what other people will say about you, and it shapes you, then you will never become the person you really want to become.

Sure there are certain norms in society. There are certain "unwritten social rules of ettiquette" but do you see people following even "basic guidelines on manners?"

hell no!
People are rude as hell. i see people texting and driving and nearly causing acccidents because they don't pay attention to their driving. I see people "shoving other people aside" and to hell with any common courtesy.

If you have only 1 open door.... facing you, but there are 3 other doors that can be opened if you only make the effort, what do most people do? They walk through the open door and they wait, if someone is already in that doorway.
they don't grab the handle or push the other closed doors open. its almost shocking if you use your brain to do so.

My point? Everyone is geared to take the easy way out. When it comes to defining others and labeling others, there is a general category that you belong to, you can't escape it. A certain political affiliation, a particular sex, a demographic on where you live and how much money you make.

Its more difficult to take the other route, open your own damn door, walk through life on your own terms, and don't give a damn if some old lady raises her eyebrows at you, or if the cosmetic counter sales person does not get the sale, after spending 30 minutes on you; trying to convince you to buy a $100.00 bottle of designer serum for your face. you have to be able to weather the storms. Most of the time, people that make real waves, were loners, they were people that did not follow the sheep, they paved their own trail, and went to a place no one thought 'could existed'

I use to care what people thought a little bit, when I was in high school. When I got out of high school and I was on my own, i realized all those "popularity contests" all those "people that were in the "in crowd" they didn't matter to me. Their opinions did not matter to me. the only thing that matters is "how you feel about yourself" and that you follow your own heart. The rest of it... well you can wait for that judgement or evaluation in the next life. While you are in this life, "Live well" and live fully and enjoy every waking moment, and live it like your last.....

the 2 things I have a hard time overlooking in people.

People who are in positions of "responsibility or paid service' where you are seeing or getting their full stupidity and ignorance in full living color.

If anyone is going to tell me "emphatically" that they are a professional with years of experience, or that they are in a management position and have the ability to fix or solve problems and they can't do it.

Look out. I will let them have it.
when I look at people, I judge them on whether or not I see a clear conscience, sincere motives that have good intentions behind them, a good heart, caring and sincere, and that they want to deliver service with the highest possible standard.

What I hate today is that with technology, more stupidity is exposed over and over again and people are suckers for reality shows and plastic surgery and utter stupidity. They need to wake up. Care only about what you know is right and do it, and damn all the sheep that are running in the direction of the slaughter house!! Run the other direction and run fast!
